The gallery Nathalie Motte Masselink buys, sells and exhibits drawings and paintings. Nathalie Motte Masselink is the owner and director of the gallery. She studied Art History at the École du Louvre and the Sorbonne, specializing in old master European drawings. After dealing art privately for five years, she opened her gallery at 12 rue Jacob, in Paris’ left bank in October 2010 in order to share her passion for art and her discoveries with a larger public. Since 2011, Klara Drelon, graduated at the École du Louvre, works at the gallery to help accomplishing all the projects.

Today, the gallery acts in two specific fields : Old Master Drawings and Contemporary Art. Nathalie’s specialized knowledge in Old Master Drawings has enabled her to make a number of important discoveries and attributions in that domain. In contemporary art, the gallery defends artists’ work that explores today’s world while acknowledging our rich artistic heritage. The artworks of the gallery are selected for both their aestheticism and their emotional resonance. Old master drawings are carefully researched and catalogs are regularly published. Since March 2014, the gallery participates at the Salon du Dessin held annually at the Palais Brongniart in Paris.

The gallery counts among its clients many private collectors and prestigious public institutions such as the Musee du Louvre and the Museum of the Petit Palais, in Paris; the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.; and the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles.
